Rayong: Clues have emerged in the investigation of a murder case involving a woman whose body was found stuffed in a bag and thrown into water in Rayong Province. Locals have reported seeing a suspicious vehicle near the location where the body was discovered, raising suspicions that the car may have returned to check if the body was afloat.
According to Thai News Agency, the murder case, which took place in Ban Chang Subdistrict, Ban Chang District, has drawn attention following a revelation by local villagers. They recounted an incident on February 6 at approximately 6:00 p.m., when they observed a suspicious vehicle at the dumping site of the woman's body. Witnesses described the vehicle as a white Vios car, modified for racing, with black-tinted windows. The car was seen entering the area, allowing access to the location where the body was found, before quickly leaving the scene via Sukhumvit Road in a hurry, exhibiting odd behavior. Initially, the locals did not consider the car's presence significant until the body was discovered the following day, prompting them to recall the incident with suspicion.
The villagers speculated that the individuals in the vehicle might have returned to verify if the body had surfaced. It is believed that the body was likely disposed of at the end of January. Since the day of the sighting, the suspicious vehicle has not been seen again. Although the locals were hesitant to get involved in the matter, their sympathy for the deceased and the ongoing police investigation compelled them to share their observations.
