Bangkok: Chatchawan Patayathai, MP for Roi Et District 7 and Secretary-General of the Thai Sang Thai Party (TST), has reiterated his support for a Prime Minister who demonstrates sincerity towards the people and is committed to advancing the country. This declaration follows two years of perceived shortcomings by the Pheu Thai government in addressing pressing issues related to the border, economy, agriculture, and drugs.
According to Thai News Agency, Chatchawan expressed his concerns via a personal message on Facebook, where he highlighted the ongoing struggles faced by the population. He noted that, despite the Pheu Thai government's tenure, significant challenges remain unaddressed, including low agricultural prices, crippling farmer debts, and pervasive drug problems impacting families and youth. Chatchawan criticized the government's credibility, citing multiple incidents that underscore its failure to effectively tackle these issues.
Chatchawan emphasized the importance of resolving the nation's problems with sincerity and determination, prioritizing the people's welfare over political agendas. He urged all political parties to focus on the needs of the populace, stating that the country requires targeted solutions rather than mere power retention strategies.
In his message, Chatchawan affirmed his commitment to supporting those who genuinely care about the people's welfare, despite having limited influence. He expressed his readiness to collaborate with like-minded individuals to ensure Thailand's progress with stability and sustainability.
