Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, has confirmed his stance of non-interference regarding the People's Party's decision on support for the prime minister. He stated his commitment to respecting the party's terms and conditions, ensuring decisions are made for the benefit of the country.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin has expressed his refusal to predict the Bhumjaithai Party's stance and emphasized the importance of abiding by the party's conditions. He encouraged trust in the People's Party by referencing the song "Believe Me" by Jae Danupol, which suggests placing trust in him over others.
In response to the Pheu Thai Party's claim that they would dissolve Parliament if the People's Party supports the Bhumjaithai Party, Anutin remarked that love for the nation should be prioritized. However, he indicated that he has not yet examined the power dynamics involved in the potential dissolution of Parliament.
Addressing whether the dissolution threat was intended to coerce the People's Party into an alliance with Bhumjaithai, Anutin questioned the need for threats. He emphasized the need for unity and love among the people to resist external threats and maintain harmony domestically.
During a visit to Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, Anutin enjoyed a hot espresso from his wife's Jarista shop, a favorite of his, along with "Oh Aew," a local dessert from Phuket. Anutin shared his fondness for the dessert, noting it is not a political statement, despite its red syrup.
