Chatcha Thaiset Dismisses Accusations of Collaboration with Hun Sen to Overthrow Thai Prime Minister

Bangkok: Mr. Chatcha Thaiset, an MP for Uthai Thani from the Bhumjaithai Party, has addressed recent accusations involving Samdech Hun Sen and a supposed plot to overthrow Prime Minister Paethongtarn Shinawatra. Chatcha firmly denied any such collaboration, attributing the claims to imaginative speculation.

According to Thai News Agency, Chatcha responded to remarks made by Hun Sen regarding his military capabilities, which allegedly include long-range weapons capable of reaching Bangkok. Chatcha laughed off the comments, suggesting that Hun Sen was exaggerating and emphasizing that such military matters are best addressed by the appropriate defense authorities in Thailand.

When questioned about the potential involvement of the Bhumjaithai Party and Mr. Newin Chidchob in a conspiracy with Hun Sen against the Thai government, Chatcha humorously dismissed the notion. He stated, "You're imagining things. I think Upper Cambodia doesn't interfere with Lower Cambodia," thereby refuting any insinuations of political meddling or alliances aimed at destabilizing the current Thai administration.
