According to Thai News Agency, Boom Panadda was on vacation in Chengdu, China, with her daughter, Nong Andaman, when she learned of the Queen Mother's passing. She recounted the moment she saw the news on social media and verified it through an official announcement from the Bureau of the Royal Household. The news brought her to tears as she remembered the profound impact of Her Majesty on the Thai people. Boom Panadda shared her cherished memories of serving the nation, which included hosting significant national events and walking the runway in front of the royal family. She fondly recalled an unforgettable moment when Her Majesty recognized her and remarked on her beauty, an experience she described as both shocking and delightful.
Boom Panadda vowed to uphold the teachings and aspirations of Her Majesty the Queen Mother by working tirelessly for society, preserving Thai arts and culture, and serving as a role model and a good mother. She also revealed that, starting today, she and volunteers from the Good Organization Foundation would be operating a kitchen next to the Bangkok City Pillar Shrine. The initiative aims to prepare and distribute food to those attending the condolences ceremony and paying respects to the royal urn. The foundation has also arranged beverages and a first aid station to support people nationwide, who will begin signing their condolences today, with the royal urn viewing starting on November 9th.
