Bombing at Pattani Red Cross Fair Injures Seven as Officials Search for Another Bomb

Pattani: A bomb was planted at the Pattani Red Cross Fair. Officials are searching for another bomb. Initial reports indicate that several people were injured.

According to Thai News Agency, at 5:20 a.m., Pattani City Police officers received a report of an explosion at the Red Cross Fair in Pattani City, approximately 100 meters from Gate D1. Initial reports indicate that the force of the explosion injured seven people, including vendors and staff. All of them were taken to the hospital.

From the investigation, it was found that the explosion occurred in the area of the Red Cross fair near the entrance to event D1 and nearby, causing three injuries. Later, there was information reporting that there were three bombs that the perpetrators had hidden, with two having exploded and another one being searched for. Currently, officials have cordoned off the area and are bringing in forces to investigate. As for the issue and cause, officials believe that it was to create an unrest situation in the area.
