Nakhon ratchasima: Blind artist Ming Roi Siang has composed a touching song titled “Forever in the Hearts of Thais” as a tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother. Despite being blind since birth, Ming Roi Siang expressed his condolences through music, capturing the essence of her compassionate service to the Thai people.
According to Thai News Agency, Ming Roi Siang, also known as Mr. Sanphasit Thupudsa, was deeply moved by the news of Her Majesty the Queen Mother’s passing. He felt inspired to use his musical talents to honor her legacy. Although he had never seen Her Majesty in person, he described feeling the warmth of her compassion through documentaries showcasing her royal duties. This inspiration led him to compose a song that reflects the profound impact of the Queen Mother’s work and the love she shared with the people of Thailand.
In Surat Thani, Thidarat Meesri, a dedicated collector, believes in the auspicious power of banknotes bearing the image of Her Majesty the Queen Mother. Her collection began in 2011, and over the years, she has amassed nearly 30 of these 500-baht banknotes. Thidarat attributes her business success and harmonious family life to the good fortune these banknotes bring, and her collection has grown to include a variety of rare commemorative notes.
Meanwhile, in Wiset Chai Chan District, Ang Thong Province, a community initiative was organized to express condolences for Her Majesty the Queen Mother. The District Chief and staff from the local learning center collaborated with villagers to create and distribute black ribbon pins. These pins are intended to support those unable to afford mourning attire, ensuring everyone can participate in honoring the Queen Mother’s memory.
