Pattani: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul spearheaded a high-profile visit to Pattani, accompanied by key Cabinet members and security officials, to tackle ongoing issues in the southern border provinces and extend support to those injured in recent unrest.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin was joined by Defense Minister General Nataphol Nakphanit, Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Deputy Interior Minister Songsak Thongsri, National Security Council Secretary-General Chatchai Bangchuad, National Intelligence Agency Director Thanat Suwannanont, and General Somsak Rungsita, the head of the southern border peace dialogue delegation. The group departed from the Songkhla Air Force Base at Wing 56.
The Prime Minister proceeded by helicopter to Sirindhorn Camp in Yarang District, Pattani Province, where he chaired a security meeting in response to the recent unrest in the region. The meeting aimed to assess the situation and strategize on measures to restore stability.

ently, at 1:45 PM, Anutin and his delegation visited Songkhla Nakarin Hospital in Kohong Subdistrict, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province. There, they provided encouragement and support to those injured in the southern border provinces, before making their way back to Bangkok.
