Bangkok: Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, emphasized the crucial role of Members of Parliament (MPs) in provincial areas to assist the populace extensively. During his visit to Ang Thong, Anutin, who also leads the Bhumjaithai Party, underscored the importance of MPs from various provinces in providing unhindered support to the public. He also clarified that he has no intention of extending his party's influence to Suphan Buri.
According to Thai News Agency, Anutin expressed these sentiments following his meeting with the Prisanananthakul family in Ang Thong. He remarked on the significance of having province-wide representation in politics, stating that it enables comprehensive public service without barriers. Anutin noted that this approach has been a tradition passed down through generations. He stated, "We have learned good lessons and gained valuable experience from our fathers, and the diligence of our children has enabled us to expand our service to the people in several provinces."
He highlighted the example of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, where the legacy of quality public service continues with Mr. Surasak Pancharoenworakul, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, and Ms. Pimrueda Tanjararak, an MP for Ayutthaya from the Bhumjaithai Party. Anutin stressed that their primary goal is to serve the people and repay the nation through dedicated service.
When questioned about the potential expansion of the Bhumjaithai Party's support to Suphan Buri Province, Anutin remarked that the focus should not be on individual provinces. Instead, he emphasized the importance of dedication and hard work, leaving it up to the people to decide the party's future based on their confidence in its efforts.
