Anutin Charnvirakul Vacates Office After Declining Interior Minister Role

Bangkok: “Anutin” packs up his office after announcing he will not return the “Ministry of Interior” chair. Reporters reported on the atmosphere at the Ministry of Interior after Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, as leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, insisted on not giving the Ministry of Interior to the Pheu Thai Party if it did not follow the agreement, to let everyone go their separate ways. It was found that this past afternoon, the Volunteer Defense Corps officers carried cardboard boxes for packing things up to the 2nd floor, which is Mr. Anutin’s office. Reporters tried to ask the officer holding the boxes whether they took the boxes to put things in Mr. Anutin’s room or not. The officer did not answer, only smiling.
