Bangkok: Anusorn Eiamsa-ard, a party-list MP for the Pheu Thai Party, has urged the opposition to have faith in the government's stability, asserting that it will serve its full term despite ongoing differences in opinion within parliament. He emphasized that such differences are a normal part of democratic processes and do not indicate any serious conflict within the coalition.
According to Thai News Agency, Anusorn responded to criticisms regarding the varying opinions between coalition parties during discussions on the draft constitution in parliament. He stated that these differences are expected in a democratic setting and do not impede the government's ability to function effectively. Anusorn assured that the Pheu Thai Party, as the main party of the government, remains committed to advancing its policies with determination. Despite some disagreements with coalition partners over constitutional amendments, he highlighted that the government continues to manage and implement its policies effectively.
Anusorn reiterated that debates and differing opinions in parliament are not indicative of serious conflicts that could hinder the government's operations. He addressed the opposition's claims of governmental instability, reassuring them that the Pheu Thai-led government is actively working. Anusorn urged the opposition to focus on developing policies for future elections rather than pushing for parliamentary dissolution, asserting the government's commitment to completing its four-year term.
