AIS-Thaicom Supports Myanmar Earthquake Relief Mission

Mandalay: AIS-Thaicom has collaborated with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) to aid the earthquake relief efforts in Mandalay, Myanmar.

According to Thai News Agency, the joint initiative aims to bolster communication systems and roaming services for emergency medical teams dispatched from Thailand by the Ministry of Defense. AIS customers who are roaming in Myanmar can access emergency assistance free of charge by contacting the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon at +959880916795 or the AIS CALL CENTER at +6620789000, available 24 hours a day from March 30 to April 3, 2025 (Myanmar time).

In addition, Thaicom is contributing to the mission by providing satellite communication signals. A receiving dish has been installed near the rescue site to distribute WiFi signals, enhancing communication capabilities for the relief teams on the ground.
