Bangkok: Actor Ratthaphum Tokongsub, known as Film, is considering whether to file a counter-suit after allegations emerged accusing him of demanding 14 million baht. Film has insisted that he has done nothing wrong and is waiting for the truth to emerge, urging society to be understanding of his situation.
According to Thai News Agency, Film and his lawyer, Pramat Leuangwattanawanich, appeared at the Min Buri Criminal Court as witnesses in a case involving cryptocurrency investment. Pramat stated that Film was present in response to a court summons, emphasizing that his involvement was limited to being invited as a speaker on blockchain technology. Film was among several experts who affirmed that he had no ties to the plaintiff's investments or the S. Company.
Film reiterated that his role was solely as a speaker and advertising figure due to his background in blockchain knowledge and marketing. He expressed frustration over the use of his image with a company to discredit him, suggesting that this was an unfair tactic. Film firmly stated that he has never engaged in illegal activities and respects the law.
The issue also involves news reports about DJ Man and Baitoey allegedly demanding 14 million baht, which Film refuted as false. He called for accountability from those spreading false information, stating that if the claims were true, Baitoey would have spoken publicly. Film remains open to forgiving those involved but warned of consequences if the situation escalates.
Film expressed his struggle with public perception and the impact of these accusations, emphasizing that he has consistently sought the truth. He and lawyer Pramat have submitted evidence to relevant agencies, underscoring their commitment to revealing the facts. Film conveyed his resilience and determination to endure until the truth is uncovered, highlighting the impact on himself and his family.
Lawyer Pramat added that the case against Noom Kanchai and Yi Thanakun was initiated by him, with the court set to examine the lawsuit's grounds next month. He stated that if counter-suits arise, they should be resolved in court, where the truth will prevail, warning of severe repercussions for revealing falsehoods.
