Amnat Charoen: A young Morlam singer, Prama Thammapitak, also known as Nong Minor, is capturing the hearts of villagers with her remarkable ability to remember Morlam lyrics and her vocal power. At just six years old, she is bringing joy and smiles to the elderly in her community through her performances.
According to Thai News Agency, Nong Minor is a student at Ban Kham Klang Kham Somboon School, located in the Non Nam Taeng Subdistrict of Mueang District, Amnat Charoen Province. She has gained a significant following on TikTok, with her clips amassing over a million views, showcasing her popularity among fans.
Nong Minor's journey into Morlam began at the age of four, influenced by her musically inclined family. Her father and her older brother, Nong Music, who is 11 years old and in Grade 5, are both skilled in playing the Khaen, a traditional Lao mouth organ. This familial environment has nurtured her talent and passion for Morlam.
In addition to her performances, Nong Minor recently shared a clip to greet fans of the program "Pluek Dusk," further endearing herself to her growing audience.
