28-Year-Old Arrested with 1 Million Methamphetamine Pills in Kalasin Province

Kalasin: Region 2 Border Patrol Police chased and arrested a 28-year-old man transporting 1 million methamphetamine pills. The man attempted to evade capture by speeding through Kalasin Province but was ultimately cornered and arrested in a hotel located in Muang District, Kalasin Province.

According to Thai News Agency, the investigators revealed that the man was hired by a Laotian investor to collect methamphetamine pills from Chanuman District, Amnat Charoen Province, and deliver them to Khon Kaen Province. He was promised a payment of 15,000 baht for the task. The operation involved using a white car to scout the area, while the red 5-door car was used to transport the drugs. Authorities have identified another individual involved in the smuggling operation.

The police have charged the suspects with the illegal possession and distribution of Category 1 narcotics. They are working to expedite the investigation and expand the inquiry to take further legal action against those involved in this narcotics operation.
