23-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot at Gas Station in Sadao District

Sadao: A 23-year-old man was shot dead on his motorcycle at a gas station in Sadao District, Songkhla Province. The footage was captured on CCTV. Police have two possible motives: a love affair and a conflict over a gray business.

According to Thai News Agency, three men approached the 23-year-old man and showed him their mobile phone screen, presumably to show him a chat or post that might have been the trigger. A few minutes later, one of the men kicked the 23-year-old man's motorcycle until he fell, and the man in a long-sleeved white shirt pulled out a gun and shot the 23-year-old man until he fell from the motorcycle and died instantly.

The incident occurred early this morning, January 5, at around 5 a.m. inside a gas station on Kanchanawanit Road, Village 1, Prik Subdistrict, Sadao District, Songkhla Province. Witnesses revealed that the deceased was Mr. Nadon Sutthimit, 23 years old, who used to be an employee at the station. Before the incident, he rode his motorcycle to fill up with gas and happened to encounter a group of perpetrators who seemed to have a bad relationship before. They argued and were shot. Sadao Police Station officers found that the deceased had been shot multiple times in the torso and head with a 9 mm. gun.

The police are now searching for clues and have identified the perpetrators. They found that the shooter had a history of carrying a gun. They will now track him down for questioning. If he does not surrender, evidence will be collected to issue an arrest warrant. Two possible motives have been identified: a love affair and a conflict over a gray business.
