Wirote Criticizes Debate Timing and Family Member Terminology in No-Confidence Motion

Bangkok: Wirote sees the wording of 'family members' as convenient, allowing for a wide range of questioning, without having to mention names but being able to bring up any relatives. He is confused as to why the 'PM' has no problem with the 30-hour debate time, but his 'subordinates' ask for a time bargain. He pointed out that he brought his father to the parliament. He explained that he can only speak to those who were implicated, but in the debate, the PM can only sit and stare blankly. He revealed that the poster 'Deal for the Country' presses the issue of 'Pheu Thai' breaking its promise, bringing family members back to enjoy themselves without respecting the people.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn, MP for the party list and deputy leader of the Prachachon Party, gave an interview about the disclosure of the no-confidence motion, which changed the wording from 'Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra' to 'family member'. He stated that the main point was the desire to have a no-confidence motion, not to delay it as many people were worried about. The change in wording was an opportunity to change it so that the debate would be more extensive and intense. Because if the word Thaksin Shinawatra was included in the motion but Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra was debated, there would be more protests. Changing it to the word family member would bring in all the defendants, including the entire family, whether they were relatives, friends, or close associates who were involved in Ms. Paethongtarn's actions or interference in the administration of the country. Because before, many people came to consult that they did not touch this name, touch that name. Now it's every name. Sad uayothin also said that the debate would be more intense. From now on, we will wait and see if there will be protests if the wording is changed to this.

Mr. Wiroj also stated that holding the card to change the name is a different matter from the number of days for the debate. He wanted to tell the government that the Prime Minister previously said that 30 hours is not a problem. So why did the entourage not respect the Prime Minister and come out to negotiate for 23 hours? He emphasized that when the motion is correct and the words are not a problem, the Speaker of the House of Representatives must include the agenda because the regulations do not state that if the date cannot be agreed upon, the agenda will not be included. Mr. Wiroj continued that there was a saying that the heart of the Pheu Thai Party is Thaksin. In that case, the Prime Minister is the daughter of the heart of the party. He wanted the people of Pheu Thai to respect the Prime Minister. They should respect the decision that the Prime Minister said that there was no problem within 30 hours. He emphasized that as long as the Leader of the Opposition has not closed the debate, a vote of no co nfidence cannot be cast. He received advice on this matter from Mr. Sutin Khlangsaeng and Dr. Cholanat Srikaew when they were monks in the opposition together.

Reporters asked about Mr. Wiroj's suggestion that Mr. Thaksin come to answer the debate in the parliament, until Thaksin told him to be careful that he might lose another party, and to ask the founder of the Future Forward Party first. Mr. Wiroj stated that if Pheu Thai is acting suspiciously that outsiders cannot come in, but according to the 76th meeting regulation, if the Speaker of the House of Representatives allows it, the Prime Minister can bring his father to the parliament, but Mr. Thaksin can only answer what is implicated. As for the debate or accusation of the Prime Minister, he can only sit and stare at it, deep down in the background.

As for the gist of the poster that the Prachachon Party released, 'Deal for the Country,' Mr. Wiroj stated that the meaning conveyed that the Pheu Thai Party was ready to break its promise, swallow everything, and was ready to do anything that would cause the people to lose their benefits and benefit themselves and their families, taking advantage of the people, allowing the people of the S.T.R. family or their beloved ones to return to enjoy themselves, and reclaiming their own power and property without regard for the people.

Mr. Wiroj concluded that the Prime Minister's decision to use 30 hours was not a problem, but the party's subordinates came out to negotiate down to 23 hours, so he did not understand whether the party members did not respect their own party leader or even whether they no longer believed in the party leader and only believed in the NLA. He viewed this as a problem of the decline in the Prime Minister's leadership. He did not know whether those who negotiated for this time were creating results to use in negotiating for the Prime Minister's seat, but rather were acting without reason and making the Prime Minister's leadership look inferior. Regarding the debate time, he wanted the government whip to listen to what the Prime Minister said.
