Treasury Department Advances Lease Contracts for Royal Land in Udon Thani

Udon Thani: The Treasury Department is advancing its initiative to grant lease contracts for royal land in Nong Wua So District, Udon Thani Province. This move involves 221 cases and spans a total area of 1,400 rai. According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Paopum Rojanasakul, the Deputy Minister of Finance, led the ceremony to award these lease contracts at the Nong Wua So District Office. The initiative is part of the Treasury Department's 'Land Lease Contract, Changing People's Lives' project. Its aim is to address poverty issues for individuals who possessed Crown Property before October 4, 2003, without any ownership disputes. The leases are granted at concessional rates under the Crown Property Act, with the registration number Ad.1816. The contracts include 29 residential lots covering approximately 8 - 0 - 70 rai and 192 agricultural lots covering around 1,391 - 1 - 96 rai. The project seeks to mitigate social inequality and improve the quality of life through enhanced housing and farmland accessibility. T he initiative is also anticipated to benefit the broader community and the nation. Furthermore, the government plans to extend its efforts in resolving housing and farmland issues through the 'Treasury Eua Rat' project by 2025, which is expected to foster local economic growth.
