Transport Company BKS Successfully Organizes Taxi Queues at Bangkok Bus Terminal

Bangkok: The Transport Company (BKS) has initiated a well-organized taxi queue system at the Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak), ensuring passengers experience a smooth, wait-free service.

According to Thai News Agency, the Transport Company Limited (BKS) has efficiently relocated its taxi service operations to parking bays 96-98 on Platform 2, operational from 3:00 AM to 5:30 AM as of August 10th. This initiative has resulted in a seamless and orderly passenger service experience, with taxis parking in designated areas and in sufficient numbers to meet demand. In response to high passenger volume, the BKS has decided to extend service hours from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM, starting August 11th.

Taxis stationed at the designated parking spaces on Platform 2 can park without charge, providing added convenience for drivers. Passengers can also utilize the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) buses, available at the usual pick-up and drop-off point next to the flagpole in front of the Mo Chit 2 Bus Terminal building.

Additionally, the taxi parking area at Platform 2 is restricted to passengers and staff only, with the Transport Company prepared to take legal action against any unauthorized access.
