According to Thai News Agency, temperatures in these regions are set to decrease by 1-2 degrees Celsius due to a high-pressure area and a cold air mass affecting the upper parts of the country, as well as the upper southern region and the South China Sea. The forecast for the next 24 hours indicates that the northern, northeastern, and central regions will see a notable drop in temperature, leading to cool to cold weather conditions. In addition, the eastern and upper southern regions, including Bangkok and its vicinity, are expected to experience cool weather in the morning. On mountaintops and hilltops, temperatures could drop further, resulting in cold to very cold weather with potential frost in certain areas. Residents in these regions are advised to take health precautions against the c old and to remain vigilant about fire hazards due to dry and windy conditions. The northeast monsoon, blowing over the Gulf of Thailand, the South, and the Andaman Sea, is bringing moderate conditions, resulting in heavy rain in some lower southern areas. Residents in these areas are urged to be cautious of possible dangers associated with the heavy rain. The Gulf of Thailand is expected to experience moderate wave activity, with wave heights reaching approximately 2 meters in the lower Gulf and 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf. Waves may exceed 2 meters in areas experiencing thunderstorms, and sailors are advised to navigate with caution and avoid stormy regions. The weather forecast provides specific temperature ranges and wind conditions for various regions across Thailand. In the northern region, temperatures are expected to drop by 1-2 degrees Celsius, with morning temperatures ranging from 12-16 degrees Celsius and peaks reaching 26-31 degrees Celsius. Northeasterly winds will be mild, ranging from 5-15 k m/hr. In the northeastern region, temperatures will similarly fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius, with morning lows between 11-16 degrees Celsius and highs reaching 27-29 degrees Celsius. Strong northeasterly winds of 10-30 km/hr are anticipated, with colder conditions on mountaintops. The central region will also see a temperature decrease of 1-2 degrees Celsius, with morning minimums of 15-20 degrees Celsius and maximums of 29-31 degrees Celsius. Northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 10-25 km/hr. The eastern region will experience a similar temperature drop, with wind speeds reaching 15-35 km/hr. The sea will have waves approximately 1 meter high, increasing to 1-2 meters offshore. In the southern region on the east coast, the temperature will decrease by 1-2 degrees Celsius, with thunderstorms affecting 30 percent of the area, particularly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and other provinces. Northeasterly winds will range from 15-35 km/hr, with waves higher than 2 meters in thunderstorm areas. On t he west coast, the morning will be cool in the upper part of the region, with thunderstorms affecting 20 percent of the area. Northeasterly winds will blow at 15-30 km/hr, with wave heights reaching more than 1 meter further from the shore. Bangkok and surrounding areas will also see a temperature drop of 1-2 degrees Celsius, with strong northeasterly winds of 10-25 km/hr. Morning temperatures will range from 19-21 degrees Celsius, with highs between 31-33 degrees Celsius.
