Thai Television Photographers Association Awards Scholarships to Members’ Children

Bangkok: The Thai Television Photographers Association has announced the distribution of scholarships to children of its members, furthering its commitment to education and welfare. According to Thai News Agency, the association, led by its president, Mr. Siri Sarapol, expressed gratitude towards key supporters who have facilitated this initiative. Among them are Khunying Pathama Leeswadtrakul, President of the World Badminton Federation, and Mr. Suttipong Juljarern, former Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, who have provided substantial educational funds. During the event, a total of 300,000 baht was donated by Khunying Pathama Leeswadtrakul and other benefactors, with each scholarship amounting to 100,000 baht. In addition to this, there were 191 scholarships distributed, each worth 3,000 baht, culminating in a total of 570,000 baht. This effort was supported by both government and private sector partners who recognize the importance of educational advancement. Khunying Pathama Leeswadtraku l served as the scholarship chairman, with notable figures like Dato' Dr. Wichit Keskaew also contributing to the cause. Mr. Siri Sarapol thanked all supporters for their contributions, emphasizing the role of education in shaping the future of the nation by equipping youth with essential knowledge. The Thai Television Photographers Association, established in 1991 under Royal Patronage, aims to support public welfare activities and the welfare of its members, who currently number 659. The association continues to play a significant role in promoting educational opportunities for the younger generation.
