Bangkok: Thai stocks closed up 2.07 points, with the Stock Exchange of Thailand concluding the day at 1,178.43 points, reflecting an increase of 0.18%. The trading value was reported at 27,690.45 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, analysts noted that the Thai stock market experienced fluctuations within a narrow range throughout the day. Early in the morning, there was a slight boost in sentiment due to news that 'Trump' had delayed the proposed EU tax hike. However, ongoing US trade tax measures continued to exert pressure on the global economy, affecting investor confidence.
Domestic factors also played a role in market dynamics. Thailand's export figures have grown less than anticipated, and this trend is likely to continue, raising concerns among investors. Looking ahead, analysts expect the market to continue fluctuating within a narrow range due to a lack of new major factors to drive movement. Resistance is projected at 1,190 points, while support is anticipated at 1,165 points.
