Bangkok: “Teng” remained non-committal on whether he would alter his stance and support “Anutin” for the Prime Minister position, leaving questions from the press unanswered as he made his way to a parliamentary meeting.
According to Thai News Agency, the leader of the Chartthaipattana Party, Varawut Silpa-archa, held a meeting with key party members, including several MPs from Suphan Buri and Nakhon Pathom, to deliberate on the urgent parliamentary agenda concerning the approval of a Prime Minister candidate. This was in accordance with Section 159 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The meeting concluded with the Chartthaipattana Party reaching a consensus to align their votes with the prime ministerial candidates list proposed by the Pheu Thai Party, the leading party in the current government coalition. The Chartthaipattana Party expressed its readiness to accept and support the outcome of the vote.
