Ten-Wheeled Truck Accident Causes Mud Damage to Cars in Sai Mai District

Bangkok: Ten-wheeled trucks carrying soil spilled mud all over the road, causing mud to hit cars parked on the side of the road and damage them. A ten-wheeler truck carrying soil spilled soil all over Theparak Road, outbound, for nearly 200 meters. Ten cars parked on the side of the road were damaged. Officials have cleaned up the area and opened traffic.

According to Thai News Agency, at 00.30 hrs, the Sai Mai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center received a report of a mud truck spilling mud onto cars parked on Thep Rak Road, Khlong Thanon Subdistrict, Sai Mai District. The scene of the accident was on Thep Rak Road, outbound, entering from Phahon Yothin Road, Watcharapol Intersection, between Soi Thep Rak 11-13. Initial reports indicate that approximately ten cars were damaged over a distance of 200 meters.

By 02.50 a.m., water truck officers from the district, along with Sai Mai volunteers, mobilized volunteers to help sweep the road and wash away the mud. Traffic has now returned to normal. The damage is currently under investigation.
