Bangkok: Teaching has visited the Udon Thani-Loei area to promote a sustainable sugarcane industry. The initiative aims to address the country's PM 2.5 dust problem, which has been partly caused by agricultural burning, particularly in sugarcane plantations.
According to Thai News Agency, there are now examples of sugarcane plantations and factories that have revolutionized their practices by trading only fresh sugarcane. This shift has not only contributed to reducing environmental impact but has also increased the income of those involved in the sugarcane industry.
