Bangkok: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is celebrating its 65th anniversary by inviting people to the 'OSOTHO and FRIENDS Garden Fair' at the Museum of Siam.
According to Thai News Agency, the event will take place from August 15-17, featuring a green-themed garden fair aimed at promoting eco-friendly tourism and celebrating TAT's history.
The fair, organized by TAT, includes free admission and is designed to highlight the legacy of TAT magazine as a travel companion for Thai travelers. Mr. Nithee Seeprae, TAT Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications, led the opening ceremony, emphasizing the magazine's role in publicizing Thai tourism and evolving alongside TAT to create a welcoming environment for travelers.
Mr. Nithi mentioned that the event includes various activities such as TAT Travel Invitations, TAT Academy travel documentary writing and photography workshops, benefits for TAT Club members, and the 'TAT and Friends Garden Fair.' These initiatives demonstrate TAT's commitment to supporting the Thai tourism industry creatively and sustainably.
The fair features three special highlights: the MARKET zone showcasing stylish shops with food, craft products, and eco-friendly items; the WORKSHOP ZONE where participants can engage in creative activities like making moss balls and fermenting soy sauce; and the EXHIBITION zone offering a rare photo display titled "65 Years of TAT," depicting the evolution of Thai tourism.
The event will also present a special issue of 'TAT Magazine' for August 2025, celebrating the 65th anniversary with exclusive content, including a timeline, watercolor paintings, and historical images. Throughout August, attendees can enjoy special promotions, such as a free iPad case with membership renewals.
Additionally, actor Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong will hold an Exclusive Fan Meet on August 16th as part of the festivities, enhancing the event's appeal with his presence. The "OSOTHO and FRIENDS Garden Fair" promises to be a memorable occasion for all visitors.
