According to Thai News Agency, Pol. Lt. Col. Chanin Noi Lek, Deputy Secretary-General of the Election Commission, along with central investigation officers and Prachin Buri investigation officers, have initiated a comprehensive operation to address violations of election laws in Prachin Buri Province. This concerted effort includes the involvement of police, administrative officers, kamnans, and village headmen who are actively engaged in monitoring activities and maintaining vigilance against potential corrupt or illegal actions during the election period.
The operation, which has been ongoing since January 22, 2025, focuses on ensuring an honest, fair, and lawful election process. Discussions among the involved parties are centered around investigative strategies and methods to prevent law violations. This initiative aims to facilitate a smooth election for the mayor and members of the Provincial Administrative Organization Council, scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Prachin Buri Province.
