Student Loan Fund Urges 3.5 Million Borrowers to Repay by July 5

Bangkok: The Student Loan Fund (SLF) has issued a reminder to 3.5 million borrowers to fulfill their repayment obligations by July 5. The fund emphasized the role of senior borrowers in ensuring educational opportunities for future generations.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Anukul Prueksanusak, deputy government spokesman, stated that the SLF has accelerated its efforts to collect payments from borrowers. This has been done through various channels, including debt notification letters, SMS messages, and alerts via the SLF Connect application. The annual repayment deadline for borrowers is July 5, 2025.

The SLF has made it convenient for borrowers to make payments through mobile banking by scanning QR codes, which can be done from any location at any time. Additional payment options are available on the Student Loan Fund website at https://www.studentloan.or.th/th/highlight/1548321901.

Mr. Anukul noted that the fund has provided educational loans to over 7.1 million students, amounting to more than 800 billion baht. He urged senior borrowers to meet the July 5 deadline to help secure educational futures for junior students.
