Bangkok: Squirrels appeared in the parliament meeting room while MPs were discussing. During a House of Representatives meeting chaired by Mr. Wan Muhammad Noor Matha, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, a squirrel was spotted running along the side wall under the eaves of the 2nd floor area. This was during a period when members were allowed to discuss, and the squirrel's presence went unnoticed by the MPs. The incident occurred in the Phra Suriyan meeting room, where the media had access to take photographs.
According to Thai News Agency, the media photographers were puzzled by the squirrel's sudden appearance, as it moved back and forth through a hole under the eaves. This unexpected visitor added an element of surprise to the meeting, though it did not disrupt the proceedings. Notably, this is not the first unusual incident in the parliament; a can of milk previously fell into the meeting room during a joint parliamentary session on January 14 while discussing draft parliamentary meeting regulations.
