According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Traisulee Traisaranakul, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, posted a video clip of the signing of the joint statement in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The event was attended by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, with US President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as witnesses. The video was captioned, "Peace comes with dignity. Prime Minister Anutin takes the first step towards restoring Thai-Cambodian relations." Anutin stated that this marks "a new milestone in Thai-Cambodian relations," aiming to end conflict, restore trust, and strengthen border security. He emphasized that peace will be realized beyond words, enabling harmonious living under the motto, "Peace comes with dignity."
