SME Bank and SAT Collaborate to Improve Extreme Sports Area for Youth

Bangkok: The SME Bank has partnered with the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) to renovate an extreme sports area for young people at Somdej Saranrat Manirom Park.

According to Thai News Agency, this initiative is part of the 3rd SME Bank Social Good Deeds for Society 2025, titled "Improving Extreme Sports Grounds for Youth," organized in collaboration with the Huai Khwang District Office. The project includes enhancements to the extreme sports grounds, provision of standardized equipment for extreme sports, and the installation of community medicine cabinets in the area. Mr. Sitthikorn Direksunthon, SME Bank Director and General Manager, alongside Mr. Sombat Krueakiratitham, Director of the Huai Khwang District Office, officially opened the improved sports grounds on September 22, 2025.

The renovation aims to provide a safe and standardized environment for youth and the public to engage in extreme sports, which are gaining popularity. It also seeks to encourage young people to use their leisure time productively, avoid drugs, and promote their physical and mental health. This project aligns with the Royal Initiative on public health care and reflects the SME Bank's dedication to fostering sustainable development in society and among youth.
