According to Thai News Agency, the Director of the Election Commission Office in Sisaket Province reported on a comprehensive situation assessment. This assessment involved meetings with eligible voters, local leaders such as kamnans and village heads, district-level government agency heads, the Election Commission for Constituency 5, Sisaket Provincial Election Inspectors, local security agencies, and election candidates. Following this evaluation, the Election Commission determined that conditions have stabilized sufficiently to conduct the election.
Security officials have confirmed that the environment is conducive for holding the elections. The Election Commission studied the outcomes of the Thai-Cambodian Regional Border Committee meeting on August 27, 2025, which was conducted smoothly. Both nations reaffirmed their dedication to cooperation and set joint operational guidelines. Consequently, the Election Commission finalized the date for the election of the Member of Parliament for Sisaket Province, Constituency 5, on September 28, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
