Shooting Rampage at Or Tor Kor Market Leaves Six Dead

Bangkok: The Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Police General Hospital has received the bodies of six victims from a shooting rampage at the Or Tor Kor Market in Chatuchak.

According to Thai News Agency, the deceased include four male security guards, one female vendor, and the perpetrator himself. The forensic team has conducted autopsies, and the bodies are expected to be returned to the victims' families today.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Wirun Supasingsiripreecha, the commander of the Institute of Forensic Medicine, confirmed that each victim was shot multiple times, with injuries to vital organs such as the head, torso, and heart. The male perpetrator, who was identified as Mr. Noi, died from a single gunshot to the head.

The forensic analysis revealed that the shootings occurred at both close and long range. While details are still being clarified, it has been confirmed that relatives can contact the Institute of Forensic Medicine to arrange funeral rites for the deceased.

In the case of Mr. Anan, who was involved in the conflict with Mr. Noi, forensic officials found evidence of 5-6 bullets, including shots to the head, torso, arm, and heart. It is suspected that Mr. Noi had the intention of taking Mr. Anan's life, leading to the multiple bullet wounds found on his body.
