Bangkok: Director of the Office of the State Enterprise Policy Committee (SPO) is satisfied that state enterprises’ disbursement of investment budgets for the first 4 months of 2024 exceeded the target.
Mr. Thibodi Wattanakul, Director of the Office of the State Enterprise Policy Committee (SEPO), revealed that state enterprises that the SEPO directly oversees Investment budgets were disbursed for 43 places, divided into 2 groups: state enterprises in the fiscal year and state enterprises in the calendar year. In 2024, state enterprises have disbursed investment budgets until January 2024 in the amount of 38,551 million baht, or 123 percent of the disbursement plan, consisting of disbursements of investment budgets of state enterprises in the fiscal year. (From October 2023 – January 2024) 34 places, amounting to 32,293 million baht, or 116 percent of the disbursement plan. and 9 state enterprises in the calendar year (January 2024), amounting to 6,258 million baht, or 182 percent of the disbursement plan.
In this fiscal year state enterprises that disbursed not less than 95 percent of the disbursement plan and had the highest value were the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA), and the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority. and state enterprises in a calendar year that can disburse not less than 95 percent of the disbursement plan and have the highest value, the 3 are the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, PTT Public Company Limited, and the Provincial Electricity Authority.-
