Bangkok: The Sports Authority of Thailand has carried the auspicious flame in preparation for the torch relay for the 33rd SEA Games and the 13th ASEAN Para Games. Mrs. Praprot Samanmit, Deputy Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand, Professional Sports and Boxing, presided over the ceremony to invite the Royal Flame into the lamp in preparation for the Royal Flame Torch Run tomorrow and to bring it into the Royal Flame storage room on the 1st floor of the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Sports Authority of Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, the ceremony to invite the auspicious flame was held to carry the auspicious flame into the lanterns of the four host provinces: Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla for the 33rd SEA Games, and Nakhon Ratchasima for the 13th ASEAN Para Games. This ceremony was intended to bring good fortune and prepare for the torch relay tomorrow. In Bangkok, the first torchbearer will be Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok, starting from the Huamark Indoor Stadium.
