Rural Highways Department Inspects 100-Year Memorial Bridge in Singburi

Singburi: The Director-General of the Department of Rural Roads inspected the bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River on the SingBuri 100th Anniversary Bridge, Saha 3026 Road, Mueang District, SingBuri Province, and ordered a review of the bridge maintenance plan and regular inspection of its strength for the safety of the public traveling.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Montree Dechasakulsom, Director-General of the Department of Rural Roads, conducted an inspection of the 100th Anniversary of Singburi Bridge, also known as Luang Pho Pae Bridge 89, located on Rural Road No. Saha 3026, connecting Intersection Highway 311 and Intersection Highway 3030 in Mueang District. The bridge spans 500 meters across the Chao Phraya River. The inspection confirmed that the bridge had not sustained any damage from the recent earthquake. Nonetheless, Mr. Dechasakulsom emphasized the importance of reviewing the bridge's maintenance plan and ensuring regular checks of its structural integrity to maintain its ability to handle traffic efficiently and ensure public safety.

For the inspection, Mr. Wit Worawong, Director of Rural Roads Office 2, along with officers from the Singburi Rural Roads District Office, provided assistance and information regarding the bridge's condition and upkeep.
