Ringleader Arrested for Stabbing Incident at Ramkhamhaeng University Festival

Bangkok: Police from Huamark Police Station have arrested another ringleader, a well-known mechanical engineering student from the Huamark area, who caused a brawl at the Bun Sart Duan 10 festival at Ramkhamhaeng University.

According to Thai News Agency, police arrested 19-year-old Nitit on a warrant for attempted murder and carrying a knife in a city, village, or public place openly or without reasonable cause. The knife used in the crime and the clothing worn during the crime were also seized at a house in Soi Chumchon Phlapphla Soi 9, Phlapphla Subdistrict, Wang Thonglang District, Bangkok.

The incident occurred on September 19th during the annual Bun Sart Duan Sip festival at Ramkhamhaeng University in 2025. A late-night stabbing incident in front of the concert stage led to several injuries among teenagers, forcing the concert to be abruptly stopped. Two teenagers from different schools were involved in the stabbing, resulting in injuries to two students, including one who was stabbed in the stomach and another in the back.

Following the incident, officers quickly apprehended one of the perpetrators. Investigators have since arrested the ringleader, Mr. Nitit, who is a student at a renowned technology college in the Hua Mak area. Armed with a knife, he was initially taken to the Hua Mak Police Station for questioning before being sent to court for legal proceedings.
