According to Thai News Agency, after a recent earthquake, the rail system was temporarily halted to conduct a detailed inspection of the infrastructure for any potential damage. Dr. Pichet Kunathammarak, the Director-General of the Department of Rail Transport, provided insights into the situation during a telephone interview with the Saturday News program.
Dr. Kunathammarak reported that thorough checks have been conducted to ensure passenger safety. He reassured the public that all necessary precautions have been taken to maintain the safety and efficiency of the rail system as it resumes full operations.
