He has assigned a committee of 10 experts to examine the details thoroughly. The Minister expressed gratitude to Senator Wiraphan for his concern and reminder to respect the Medical Council's procedures.

According to Thai News Agency, Somsak Thepsuthin spoke to the media following the Medical Council's submission of a resolution that concluded with the punishment of three doctors involved in treating former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. He stated he has been informed of these developments in his capacity as a special council president, and he has a 15-day period to consider the matter. A committee consisting of both legal and medical experts has been appointed to provide their opinions on the resolution.

In response to questions about Senator Wiraphan Suwannamhai's Facebook post urging him to respect the Medical Council's process, Somsak acknowledged the Senator's concern. He described Senator Wiraphan as a dedicated individual interested in public health and expressed his gratitude for the Senator's interest and advice.
