Bangkok: PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) has joined forces with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to enhance organizational management capabilities and foster a sustainable economic system. This partnership marks a significant step towards integrating scientific research and technological advancements into the core operations of PTT.
According to Thai News Agency, PTT and the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at bolstering management capabilities and promoting sustainability. The agreement was signed by Mr. Wutthikorn Stithit, Chief Operating Officer, Upstream Petroleum and Natural Gas Business Group, PTT, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Weerachai Arjhan, Governor of TISTR. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Mr. Rattikul Piyawongwanich, Senior Executive Vice President and Acting Executive Vice President of Project Engineering and Operations for Excellence at PTT, and Dr. Chitra Chaiwimol, Dep
uty Governor for Strategy and Innovation Management at TISTR.
The collaboration aims to foster innovation in energy management and related technologies, including the implementation of an Energy Management Platform (AIoT Platform). It also seeks to enhance entrepreneurship by improving research efficiency and innovation in the production of herbal and cosmetic products. Furthermore, the partnership will facilitate the exchange of knowledge on key factors that support the growth and success of the organization’s core business.
This initiative is part of the State Enterprise Partnership Program, under which the State Enterprise Policy Committee has designated PTT and TISTR as partners. The collaboration is expected to enhance the operational potential of state enterprises, contributing to the stable and sustainable development of Thailand’s national economy.
