Kuala Lumpur: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) showcased its vision and innovations at the International Petroleum Technology Conference 'IPTC 2025' held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Montri Rawanchaikul, Chief Executive Officer of PTTEP, and executives welcomed several distinguished guests, including Dato' Sri Haji Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh, Chairman of PETRONAS, YM Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik, President and Group Chief Executive Officer of PETRONAS, Dr. Pinar O. Yilmaz, IPTC Board Chair, and Mr. Mohd Jukris Abdul Wahab, Executive Vice President and CEO, Upstream of PETRONAS, to PTTEP's booth at the 17th International Petroleum Technology Conference.
During the conference, Mr. Montri and PTTEP executives discussed the future direction of the petroleum industry and took part in a seminar focusing on technologies designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. They also examined the role of digital innovation in supporting offshore operations.
PTTEP highlighted various technologies aimed at increasing operational efficiency, including digital innovations under the DigitalX project, the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project, and the 'Lan Saeng Arun' solar power generation project. The company also presented its efforts in expanding new energy businesses and robotic technology for underwater operations.
