Bangkok: The Prime Minister, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, came equipped with a yellow inhaler as she attended a hearing regarding an audio clip involving her and Samdech Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Senate. The hearing took place at the Constitutional Court, which had resumed its closed-circuit television (CCTV) broadcast at 11:34 a.m. to cover the proceedings.
According to Thai News Agency, the session began with the questioning of Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, the Secretary-General of the National Security Council, who was called as a witness in the case. His testimony lasted approximately one hour, after which Ms. Paethongtarn was summoned for questioning. Prior to delivering her statement, she took an oath of office in the courtroom.
During Ms. Paethongtarn’s testimony, observers noted the presence of a yellow inhaler, which she had brought to the hearing. Once her oath was completed, the live television broadcast was interrupted again, ceasing public transmission of the proceedings.
