Bangkok: The Prime Minister has ordered an investigation into the cause of a study bus overturning in Prachin Buri. The Prime Minister, Paethongtarn Shinawatra, revealed that she was informed about the accident involving a study bus from Por Charoen Municipality, Bueng Kan Province. The bus, which was heading to Rayong Province, overturned while driving down Khao Sala Thon in Nadi District, Prachin Buri Province, leading to fatalities and injuries.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to investigate the cause of the accident and to examine the condition of the vehicle involved. This incident has raised concerns about the safety of vehicles used for student transportation and the standards of road safety in the area.
In addition to the study bus accident, the Prime Minister addressed another incident involving a van that collided with a trailer truck in Nakhon Sawan Province. This accident resulted in 4 deaths and 5 injuries. The Prime Minister mentioned that reports on this incident have not yet been received and further details are being sought to understand the circumstances surrounding the collision.
