Monte Carlo: Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, met with senior executives of the Formula 1 racing competition on May 23, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. local time in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The meeting aimed to study the feasibility of organizing a city circuit format F1 race in Thailand.
According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister was invited to visit the race track and observe the practice sessions of Formula 1 racers participating in the Tag Heuer Monaco Grand Prix, widely recognized as one of the most prestigious race tracks globally. During the discussions, the Prime Minister also interacted with Taensatapon Intraphuwasak, a Thai Formula 3 racing driver.
Following the practice session, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra extended her visit to meet with Mr. Alex Albon Ansusinha, a 29-year-old Thai-English Formula 1 racer who competes for the Williams Racing team, offering her support and encouragement.
