Prime Minister Emphasizes Clear Communication and Proactivity in Policy Meeting

Bangkok: The Prime Minister held a policy meeting with assistant ministers from all ministries, stressing the importance of proactive work and correcting false news targeting ministries. Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, chaired the meeting to hand over policies and missions to the committee of assistant ministers, with key figures including Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, and others in attendance.

According to Thai News Agency, the Prime Minister congratulated the committee of assistant ministers on their appointments, highlighting their critical role in driving the country forward and supporting ministers in implementing government policies. These include initiatives like the Housing for Thais Project, the One District One Scholarship (ODOS) Project, the Summer Camp Project, and economic stimulus policies aimed at reducing expenses and increasing income. The Prime Minister urged assistant ministers to work across multiple dimensions according to each ministry's missions and help ensure accurate communication of information to the public about the progress of government policies.

The Prime Minister addressed the issue of information distortion in political contexts, which could lead to misunderstandings about government intentions. He emphasized the crucial role of assistant ministers in clarifying information for the public to foster understanding and confidence. Despite varying tasks across ministries, reducing miscommunication is vital to support the government's efforts.

Further, the Prime Minister outlined the importance of assistant ministers in supporting ministers, coordinating ministry details, and collecting data and suggestions from field visits to enhance ministerial operations. The Prime Minister called for a focus on proposing strategies and expediting policy implementations, urging collaboration to overcome obstacles and achieve clear results.

Additionally, the Prime Minister instructed assistant ministers to heed orders, policies, discussions, and parliamentary questions relevant to their ministries to ensure comprehensive explanations. Declaring the current year as the 'Year of Opportunity and Economic Stimulation,' the Prime Minister underscored the urgency of economic measures to stimulate the economy and alleviate public burdens, emphasizing close adherence to his directives.
