Prime Minister Awaits NACC Letter on Digital Wallet Budget Transfer

Bangkok: The Prime Minister has not yet received a letter from the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) concerning the transfer of the 2015 budget for the digital wallet project. This situation raises concerns as it could potentially violate Section 144.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, addressed the situation involving the NACC's decision to accept the accusation related to the drafting of the 2025 budget bill for the digital wallet project valued at 35,000 million baht. This project could infringe upon Article 144 of the Constitution. The list of accused includes Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, former Prime Minister Mr. Settha Thavisin, the Cabinet, members of the House of Representatives, and the entire Senate. She confirmed that no letter from the NACC has been received as of now.
