Preparing to Open Traffic on Kamphaeng Phet Road 2, Inbound, Tomorrow

Bangkok: Officials rushed to clear the area and clean up the area near the collapse of the Office of the Auditor General building, preparing to open traffic on Kamphaeng Phet Road, both sides, inbound on April 2.

According to Thai News Agency, in the case of the collapse of a building in the construction project of the new Office of the Auditor General (OAG) in Chatuchak during the earthquake on March 28, 2025, officials closed traffic near the scene on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, both inbound and outbound, to allow the area for officials to work.

Latest at 8:30 p.m., officials from various agencies began moving tents on Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road, inbound, Chatuchak Subdistrict and District, Bangkok, next to JJ Mall, Chatuchak, with air conditioning, to clear the traffic surface. There were cleaning staff from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration coming to clean the traffic surface.

Tomorrow (April 2, 2025), officials are preparing to open traffic to allow cars to pass through on one side. It is expected that traffic will be opened at 4:00 AM, allowing cars to drive in opposite directions. Previously, traffic was closed from the U-turn point at Suan Somdet Park. Traffic on Kamphaeng Phet Road 2 inbound, heading to the Or Tor Kor intersection, has been opened.
