Bangkok: "Prasert" expects clear cabinet reshuffle this week, says all work can be done after name dropped from list to control "Interior Ministry", sits as "Labor", believes the work of the Ministry of Digital Economy will be seamless, "Kritsada" denies receiving notification to prepare to scan new ministers. According to Thai News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society Prasert Chantarawongthong discussed the anticipated clarity and progress of the cabinet reshuffle. He stated that significant developments are expected within the week, though the final decision rests with the Prime Minister and the distribution of ministerial roles. Prasert expressed uncertainty about his future role but remained open to any assignments given by the Prime Minister, acknowledging the latter's judgement in assigning roles appropriately. When questioned about his preference between overseeing the Interior Ministry or the Labor Ministry, Mr. Prasert indicated his willingness to serve in any c apacity as determined by the Prime Minister. He emphasized his respect for the Prime Minister's decision-making process. Prasert also expressed confidence that the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society would continue to operate effectively, regardless of any changes in supervision. Meanwhile, Mr. Pakorn Nilpraphun, Secretary-General of the Council of State, did not provide any details regarding notifications for cabinet background checks, stating there was no information available. He also confirmed that there were no special investigations or emphasis on the NACC or other matters, reiterating his lack of detailed knowledge on the subject.
