Power Outages Intensify to Disrupt Call Center Gang Operations on Myanmar Border

Mae Sot: Entering the second night, power outages, internet signal cuts, and oil delivery suspensions have been implemented from Mae Sot District, Tak Province to Myawaddy City in Myanmar. These measures aim to disrupt the operations of a Chinese mafia group suspected of being involved in call center scams. The strategic actions have led to a noticeable decrease in electricity usage in the affected areas.

According to Thai News Agency, the coordinated efforts target the infrastructure supporting the criminal network, which relies heavily on uninterrupted electricity and internet connectivity to maintain their operations. By cutting off these essential services, authorities hope to dismantle the gang's activities and disrupt their communication channels across the border. The ongoing efforts reflect a broader initiative to combat organized crime and protect regional security.
