Surin: Police expanded their search of a commercial building in Surin, believed to be a residential area and a place for making fake passports for victims who were tricked into working for a call center gang after a Chinese man jumped out of a car and fled while being taken to work.
According to Thai News Agency, in the case of the midnight of yesterday (9 February), officers helped Mr. Su Lee, a 29-year-old Chinese national, under a footbridge near the Ban Dong Man intersection, Tambon Khokho, Amphoe Mueang, Surin Province, who called for help after traveling to Thailand but was kidnapped by a call center gang to work. While being taken to be delivered to the call center gang, he decided to jump out of the car and escape to hide under the footbridge. It was reported that before Mr. Su was sent, he was taken to a commercial building in Tambon Tha Sawang, Amphoe Mueang, Surin.
